There are many differing views and social opinions regarding aesthetics as it is a relatively new industry. When I entered the industry, I was looking forward to learning new skills, but a part of me felt that I was moving away from my clinical practice as a medical professional. I thought I was moving away into the beauty / cosmetic industry, and I did not feel comfortable. You may also feel this way.

But I am here to tell you that I have extended my medical career and that I had no understanding from the onset that there are two very separate and distinct areas in aesthetics. There are medical aesthetic treatments for patients who have a clear medical reason to attain aesthetic treatments, and then there are people who seek treatment for purely cosmetic reasons. These are beauty / cosmetic customers or clients.

At Sensa Medical Aesthetics Academy, our courses have been specifically developed for medical professionals carrying out medical treatments. We will provide you with expert knowledge to consult, diagnose and record all clinical data in a secure clinical application complemented with medical consent forms and how to provide safe and effective aesthetic treatments, confidently deal with complications and provide safe aftercare.
